Valentine's Day Gala

A quite little town in West Virgina was brought to life when, Chelsea and Cody Reynolds, contacted me for a Valentine's Day event. This would be the second event I have done for this power couple. Chelsea and Cody recently opened a Med spa in Williamson, Wv but this isn't all they have done. The continually give back to the same community of Williamson with these events they host. They give a chance for adults to let loose and forget about the stresses of life for a night. They support local vendors by hosting these events. The list goes on and on for this power couple and I'm so grateful they chose Magnolia June Events to be a part of this.

Chelsea contacted me after their NYE party and wanted to book her next event. She wanted to host a Valentine's Day Gala but didn't want it to be to "valentines-y". Together we got to work designing the perfect, romantic, straight out of a story book, Valentine's Day Gala. Chelsea picked the perfect colors. We used cheery apple red table covers, with a beautiful rich purple, velvet over lays. We matched with chair covers with the overlays but with the perfect touch of glitter on the backs of the chair covers. We add a touch of a fuchsia with curly chair sashes.

The centerpieces for the gala were straight out of "Beauty and the Beast". We used gold candelabras with a beautiful mix of the colors she chose for the floral. We added led tapered and pillar candles to give a romantic vibe. It was truly amazing and mixed well with the historical vibe of the Mountaineer Hotel.

The backdrop for the photobooth gave more of a fun vibe but all balloons do. Chelsea wanted a gold glitter backdrop. We added the letter XOXO and added balloons from her color pallet. Red lights were added to light up the XOXO display.

Magnolia June works with some amazing vendors in Williamson, Wv. Mobile Knight DJ kept the night alive with his amazing DJing skills. The music choices kept the coward dancing all night long. The venue choice was Mountaineer Hotel, and they also provided the bar and food. The hotel is beautiful, historical, and had some of the best spinach dip I have ate. The hotel staff are amazing and kept tables cleared. Bar tending was top notch. They kept over 100 people satisfied all evening.

Oak and arrow captured the entire night, with photos and videos. If you haven't seen the NYE and Valentine's Day video, check it out on their facebook page.

The Valentine's Day gala was a huge sucess. When vendors work together amazing outcomes happen. Thank you again Chelsea and Cody. As always it was a pleasure working with you.
